October 2021 LSAT Score Notes

October 2021 LSAT Score NotesSpivey Consulting Group

I wouldn't expect a a big surge of high scorers coming from October tests results. Per LSAC:

" - Aggregated October 2021 scores are in line with and slightly lower (less than one point) than aggregated scores for the three-section October 2020 LSAT-Flex."

" - Aggregated October 2021 scores are also very much in line with the scoring patterns we observed for the in-person, 5-section October 2019 LSAT."

" - The distribution of October scores across the 120-180 range is consistent with historical trends, with slightly fewer scores in the highest bands than we saw in October 2020 and more scores in the highest bands than we saw in October 2019."

Disclaimer: It's still early. Data is most volatile early and things can change. But I suspect, highly, this cycle won't look like last cycle in respect to number of high scorers 170+, and I also think it is likely applicants (maybe not applications though) will end up down from last year.
