Biography

Armando Garcia is a recent graduate of Amherst College, where he was actively involved in various roles across campus, including academic support, event coordination, and laboratory safety operations. He worked for the Conferences and Special Events office at Amherst College and the office for Laboratory and Chemical Safety. While at Amherst College, he participated in the Mental Wellbeing Committee, the Weightlifting Club, and La Causa (a cultural, political, and service organization for Latinx students).

He majored in Political Science after spending his first few years in college focusing on chemistry and math. He discovered a stronger passion for law and its complexity, which allowed him to pursue a different major, with plans to attend law school and pursue a career as an attorney. Known for his proactive mindset, keen organizational skills, and collaborative approach, Armando is committed to contributing meaningfully to every team and project he joins.

Personal Note

As a first-generation college student, Armando is passionate about building genuine connections and helping organizations stay organized and efficient. Throughout his life, he attended 11 different schools and lived in diverse places such as Chicago, Columbus (Ohio), Mexico, and others—experiences that have shaped his adaptability and broadened his perspective.

In his free time, Armando enjoys watching movies, exploring new foods, and continually learning about topics across science, business, education, policy, and law.
