Outside of his work with Spivey, Nathaniel is a graduate researcher at the University of Oxford, where he is reading for an MPhil in Comparative Social Policy as a Rhodes Scholar. He hails from Mesa, Arizona and attended Arizona State University, graduating with distinction with a MS in Biology. A junior inductee to Phi Beta Kappa at ASU, he quadruple-majored in Applied Quantitative Science, Biology, Political Science, and History, graduating summa cum laude with the Moeur Award for a perfect academic record. He has worked extensively in policy and government in local to international roles with a particular focus on the intersection of disability and emerging technologies. He aims to make complex science and research comprehensible to everyone, regardless of expertise, as both a science writer and AI policy advisor. A self-proclaimed data nerd, Nathaniel brings his experience translating complex technical information to create clear data analytics for use by law schools and applicants alike.
In his free time you can find Nathaniel either making recreational spreadsheets or on the dance floor, tap-dancing, country two-stepping or ballroom dancing. He looks forward to beginning his legal career as at Yale Law School in the near future.
